Sorry, no Lethal Lips yet! Had...*caughs* HAVE some crazy projects I'm doing, and just don't have time! (I'm sure you're sick of hearing that...practically everyone uses that as an excuse for everything) But it's the truth! I haven't even Role Played yet! That's how busy I am! I'll stop yelling now!

This is my entry for a school contest
An interesting book. I've not finished reading The Luxe, but it's pretty good so far. The story focuses on different characters, (like boogiepop) which is pretty refreshing and despite it being a book about backstabbing, loathing, angst and jealousy (all the things I love *sarcasm*) being set in the 19th century (time of innocence, etiquette and manners) is pretty awesome.

Tired of listening to the same old? Check out the whimsical "Birthday Massacre"! (unless...like me...they are your 'same old') this funky fresh, gothic band has sweet and unique sounds! The stories behind their songs are dark, hardcore fairy tales and can match any situation! Definitely give this metal punk band a listen!

If you haven't already, you MUST watch Soul Eater! Soul Eater is a twisted gothic looking anime, jam-packed with action and witty humor! The plot is original and the animation is phenomenal! It's an on-going series and one you can't miss out!

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you the long awaited: Lethal lips!

Not sure if this is going to be a by weekly or monthly strip...
I drew the rough/outline for this back in December (I think) but only cleaned it up today. It was a half day so I figured, why not. *sighs* my sweet half day all gone...At least I was productive^^

Oh, and in answer to a comment: No, I will not be posting any of my portfolio work because I sent it in last Monday and didn't take any pictures. Sorry.^^; Maybe once I get it back I will.

2009 Update

Well, first off, I just wanted to say: Happy 2009 everybody! Just think, it's been 3 years since the creation of this blog! Thanks for sticking with me so long^^ and if you're a new follower, thanks anyways!
Can't say that I'm sorry for not posting in 17 days. (woaaa, loooong time!) I was busy completing my portfolio and working on other projects, fu fu. Sadly to say...I haven't really developed anymore plot for Lethal Lips...But I'll get to it.
I finally caved in and got a deviant art account. I was convinced that after a year you had to pay, but turns out that's only if you want a membership. Haven't done anything with it yet but you can check me out at: http://hesbell.deviantart.com/
I recently wrote out a dream I had...and for whatever reason the Jonas Brothers were in it *shivers* Not sure where I should post that. It's 18 pages o_O A bit of a monster for a blog post. Any suggestions?
I got live journal a while ago too but it's too confusing >.< I don't go on it at all DX

For Christmas I knitted custom scarves for people but didn't end up making one for myself. My old blue one (I made before) got super stretched and would hang past my coat. So, I got some wool, turned on a radio show and knitted. I finished the whole thing in one sitting. so, about 2 hours? Haha it was fun. Now I have a scarf!

And best part, it matches my mitts and hat! The mitts are Christmas present's from T-ben and the hat used to be my grandfathers. Funny how old things become trendy again~ (or I should say, 'vinatge') hehe
